The Rivet Shelf explores the relationship between storage and display through a singular, sculptural form. Constructed using a cold-forming riveting technique developed by designer Jonas Trampedach in 2011, each piece is hand-assembled from laser-cut raw aluminum sheets. The shelf’s minimal geometry and material honesty lend it a quiet architectural presence, making it equally suited for functional or decorative use. Over time, the aluminum will develop a graceful patina, enhancing its distinctive character.
