Inspired by the unruly yet beautiful backyards of Reykjavik, No. 101 captures the essence of our short yet luminous summers, extended by the perpetual daylight. It evokes the aromas and sounds of urban summer life, echoing the heart of the city. And as quickly as summer arrives, it yields to the icy grip of winter.

Weathered garden chairs stacked

Our inaugural and best-selling fragrance, inspired by Old Reykjavík, evokes nostalgia and heritage. It's rooted in Jónsi's memories of working alongside our father on the big ships that frequented the old harbor. This scent, No. 23, captures the essence of oil-stained hands, a feeling of industry and salty ocean air mixed with the aroma of pipe tobacco. 

Smoke in the air and tarred telephone poles,
Anis seeds and black pepper,
tail freshly mowed grass and tobacco leaves.
Dead flowers bow to the ground.
In the breeze, the feminine fountain
pine tickles the top of your skull. 
A beached whale is about to explode.

No. 54

No. 54 is a fragrance that pays homage to our father's workshop. In our childhood, it was a space filled with endless exciting possibilities - from tools of the trade to an apprentice’s workbench – complete with a hint of danger. This scent turns unconventional aromas into something captivating and powerful. 

Fresh coat of varnish on a wooden shed. 
Uprooted moss, wet dirt and vetiver roots..
Burnt car tires on hot asphalt and dry patchouli.
Heavy slow-drying oil painting.
Icelandic alpine fir, footsteps in
frozen grass and salt liquorice.

Faux Flora No.1

No. 1 is part of the Faux Flora Collection, a sensorial display of a plant’s life cycle displayed through human milestones, exhibited and premiered at the National Nordic Museum. The plant life cycle—germination, growth, flowering, seed formation, and seed dispersal—is thus superimposed on the life cycle of a human–birth, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and death. Faux Flora springs from universal experiences, creating mythical flowers that are otherworldly yet familiar.

Flotholt

Flotholt serves as a ritual of hope in challenging times.  Flotholt debuted in 2022 to celebrate the Sigur Rós World Tour and is aptly named after the Icelandic word for a round lifeguard ring used for rescuing people from drowning. This fresh yet mysterious scent is inspired by the boundless ocean, particularly its cold, dark, and wild expanse.
