From the length and thickness of the clock hands to the size of the numbers and color composition, all design details were examined and fine-tuned for an easily-readable and comfortable appearance. The brazen second hand adds a sharp contrast to the clock face.

Mikiya Kobayashi 

Born in 1981 in Tokyo, he founded his own studio in Tokyo and Valencia after an experience in an interior design company.
He is working in many design fields such as furniture, daily products, electronics, mobility as well as space design. Deeply rooted in a lifestyle that is considered jointly with clients, his design is also able to merge into its surrounding space. He recieved many awards such as iF Gold Award and Red Dot Design Award in Germany. In 2018, he starts his own original lifestyle brand IMPLEMENTS.

Founded in 1947 Lemnos Inc. began as a brass casting manufacturer in Toyama Prefecture in Japan. In 1966 the began supplying Seiko Clock Co with key parts and eventually in 1980 began working with well-known and established designers producing fine clocks. 

Collaborating with famous designers Lemnos produces high-quality items by working with craftsmen who enhance the value of the material through their interaction with it. The result is a design object that does not become obsolete through the passage of time.

Lemnos products have received high acclaim and design awards all over the world.
