Shinrin-Yoku Soy Wax Candle 170ml by Earl of East

An earthy blend of cedarwood, oakmoss, and black pepper, Shinrin-Yoku is inspired by the Japanese ritual of forest bathing.

35 - 40 hours burning time.

Every detail of these beautiful candles are carefully thought out, to create a unique experience through scent.

They are hand-poured in East London, using non-GMO, soy based wax. The wicks are made from unbleached linen in Germany, meaning they will not create a large flame or smoke, which is better for us and the environment. The glass jars are manufactured directly in the UK. The oils are a mix of essential and botanical, naturally derived, ethically sourced and fully traceable to origin.

They are also vegan, phthalate and GMO free.

OUR STORY

Earl of East was founded by Niko Dafkos and Paul Firmin in 2014, starting life as a market stall in East London, built from a love of home fragrance, and a desire to create something of their own.

Since then Earl of East has grown to include two bricks and mortar stores in London, an online shop, and a line of home fragrance and bathing products that are made sustainably by a dedicated team in London.

Our brand has 4 pillars, Create, Curate, Collaborate and Community, this foundation weaves through everything we do as a company. Visit us and you’ll find a curated selection of independent brands and like-minded designers sharing shelves with our own home fragrance products.

But it’s not just about shopping. Over the years, our stores have become creative destinations, where we host candle making workshopsand events, and serve coffee and conversations to our growing community both on and offline.

Our unique Earl of East scents have garnered a legion of loyal fans and we are proud to be stocked in over 250 stores worldwide.

As we continue to establish ourselves as a leading UK manufacture of high quality home fragrance, we have enjoyed collaborations with brands including JW Anderson, Selfridges, and The Great Frog in the last few years, and we cannot wait to see where this business takes us next.
